What Rifle Are You Using for the 2013 Hunting Season

I gota say, These are usually the bullets I use in my 30-30 for hunting and fully planned on this year as well. Always filled the freezer so why not.

I was out the other day making sure my rifle is zeroed properly for the season and tried a box of Winchester power max 170gn.
For the first time in 5 years with this rifle ill be changing my ammo ~! very impressed and very excited for the season.

Might use my Polish M-44 or maybe the Remington Model 14 for moosies/deer

Ruffed Grouse/Doves/Wabbits will definitely be getting my 20Ga Citori.

Stoeger semi for wet feathers
Ruger red label 12g for dry feathers

Ruger semi .44 magnum for dogging, my .308 BLR for sitting watches in the bush, and my Winchester M70's in 30-06 and 7mm-08 for anything else!

When it comes big-game time, out comes my Rem 700 in .308win. I had the tube cut down to 20" since last season - I'm thinking it will be that much handier for woods romping. Got some 165gr partitions to try out this year!

Using my hotrod,. 25-08ai for elk, deer and yotes. 100 gr tsx for deer and elk, 87 gr for coyote. Basically a short action 25-06.

this year it will be a custom build 300 BLK . started to work up a load. not sure if to use the HNDY SST's 125 grain or to go heavy cast with a 220 grain soft lead.

A new to me Blaser r93 in 3006 will be the choice for bull elk shoots wickedly small groups after that I may give the newest husky 4100 a work out on deer

i'm using a custom rem 700 in 338 06. minox 1.5x8 z5 scope. never hunted with this rig but its deadly accurate with 200 grn bullets at 2800+ fps. a nice lightweight rifle package.
