In the 50 or so rifles I have bought and sold over the last decade, I am surprised I haven't owned the following common makes of rifles:

1. Remington (handled and shot a few and owned several of their shotguns)
2. Browning
3. Cooper
4. Blaser
5. Merkel
6. Bergara

What have you missed in your experience? Don't worry about the obscure brands or the $25,000 Martini / Hagn's :)

Out of the popular brands....many.

1. Savage
2. Henry
3. Winchester
4. Tikka
5. Sako
6. Bergara
7. Beretta
8. Benelli
9. Browning
10. Colt

Started out not too many years ago so my list is quite long.
The first ones were on the budget side and as the basics needs are filled I am slowly upgrading a
bit in quality.

Honestly I think the only major one I've never owned is Browning.

Now mind you, this applies to their new guns specifically- but after a decade selling firearms for a living, I have zero desire to buy a rifle from a company that makes more money selling hoodies and truck decals than actual firearms. I've seen so many issues with Browning rifles that I genuinely wouldn't hunt with one if it was given to me. Now their older Mauser-based guns, or maybe a steel receiver BLR... I could be persuaded.

Don't mind their shotguns, but that's a bit of a different story, seeing as Miroku's reputation precedes itself when it comes to scatterguns.

I've had a couple hundred over the decades. Never owned a Cooper. Nor a bergara. Other than that, I've owned most major brands. For a long time I simply looked at rifles as building blocks (yeah, I was one of those guys who carved up a lot of surplus rifles). What can I use this for? But there were some that were just too nice to mess with. - dan

Cooper, Bergara, Blaser, Kimber, Vudoo, Henry, SKS.....probably a couple of others.
Some stayed home, many passed on to new owners. I have no time for a firearm
that I do not like. Dave.

I'm guessing you shoot Rems or Weatherbys or both

No Weatherby's here, the only Remington I own was an old 742 that was gifted to me.

I have 4 Rugers, 3 Mossberg's, 2 Marlins, a few black rifles, a couple milsurps and a few others that can't be named.

I'm looking to expand my collection to see what some of these other brands have to offer in the new year. I have pre-ordered a CZ600 for starters.

Ya. easier to think of what I've had, than what I haven't had.
I have had or have; Win,Browning, FN, Mauser, Merkel, Valmet, Tikka, Krieghoff, Rem, Mossberg, Ruger, Lakefield, Eibar, Fabarm,GSG, Stevens, CZ, FAIR.
I'd like to get a CPA 44-1/2 Stevens 32RKS or 32-40
Wouldn't mind a Chapuis SxS in 6.5 or 7x57R, maybe even a 30-30, or a singleshot stalking rifle from them.
