What rifle brand have you not owned...

Intentionally avoided Savage, Mossberg, Kimber, Norinco, Zastava, Rossi, and the Russian things connected to Remington. Nothing from Asia, Eastern Europe, nor South America.

The older models from Browning and Tikka are great but not a fan of the A-bolt, X-bolt, nor T3 junk.

Never owned an HK, Cooper, Mauser, Blaser, Anschutz, nor Bergara, but I have had range time with all and like them.

I've owned 50 or so rifles, and there are many brands that were not included in the list. I don't have any further interest in cheap, commodity type arms. I search for classic quality, precision, and artistry in the firearms I purchase. Rifles built for a price point on the mass market hold no more appeal for me. So while i've owned a bunch of fairly cheap Remington, Winchester, Savage and Parker-Hale rifles, I've never owned a Henry, a Tikka, a Mossberg, or a bunch of even lesser makers. My tastes include several makes that are unfortunately above of my Rifle budget, so I've never owned a Holland and Holland, Chapuis, Blaser, Rigby, or Martini. My current list included Anschutz, Sako, Merkel, Krieghoff, Ruger, Browning, Brno, CZ, Beretta, and Chiappa. I don't feel a need to add more makers unless they have something very particular to offer.

Aside from an old .22 that passed through my hands briefly I haven't owned any Remingtons. They do intrigue me though, actually the aura of reverence surrounding the brand is what intrigues me. I have found a few decently priced ones over the years but always walked away and bought others. Remingtons just don't seem to turn my crank. You'll find the die hard fanboys in any crowd but I think it's the blind adoration of what is , to be completely honest, a mediocre rifle at best that I find odd. Here are some brands I walked away with when I was intentionally looking to by a Remington..... FN98, Husqvarna M96, Marlin XL and XS, Winchester M70 XTR, TC Compass, Steyr-Mannlicher, Ruger NO.1, Lee Enfield P17 sporter. As you can see my decision to not buy Remington was in many cases not driven by cost. I guess that to me Remingtons generally come across as white bread, bland and uninteresting, while I prefer to excercise my taste buds. Maybe one day I'll have a craving for a fried bologna sandwich but for now I'm satisfied hanging out in the deli!

OP's question assumes some awareness of what brands are actually out there. For sure, that I know about, I have not owned these brands:
CIL
Sauer
Anschutz
Weatherby
Cooper
Kimber
Santa Barbara
Musgrave
and likely many others that I have not heard of or that do not immediately come to mind.

Interesting to see Kimber in the first group. Any particular reason for this?
