What rifle to take sheep hunting

Seriously, an argument about what rifle to use on a ewe? Take any one of them, enjoy the hunt and enjoy the meat!
 
I think I will take the 243 and the 30-06. The 243 is nice and light. The 30-06 ain't bad either. The ruger is the hevey weight in more then one category. The rife will be in my scabord in my pack most of the time anyway. Plus the 243 is a vergin too boot. Wouldn't mind geting it dirty.
 
I'd go with the '06. If bears are an issue, load up a 200 grain Nosler Partition for bear medicine? The ejector issue sounds like an old gun on-off. If you are at all concerned about its reliability, have a good gunsmith give it an inspection before you go. my 2 cents...
 
Not worried about bears. No grizz in the area. Black bear won't be a issue with a 243 IMO

Not to mention I think they would be in their dens by then for the most part.
