What rings for HVA 4100?

Is the Husqvarna 4100 essentially built on the 1600 action?

Can I use low rings on a Weaver base for the rifle?

It has Warne rings now but I really don't like them and want to change to Burris.

I have a Husqvarna 4100 7x57. Weaver bases. 46 and 55 (I believe - can't see numbers and don't really want to dismount the scope). I'm using really low old school Weaver rings - there is +/- .325" between top of front receiver ring and bottom of the K3-1 Weaver scope (1.48" eye piece). Bolt handle just nicely clears eye piece. Without modification, wouldn't want to go any lower with this scope. My set-up would not work with "fat" oculars like on some Bushnells, etc.

Low Burris zee rings fit onto the weaver bases nicely. They sit a bit higher than low weavers and are slightly heavier, but are of excellent quality and value.
