what round is this and whats it fire with

just at a estate sale, got a crap load of reloading bukkets but also a sealed tin of bullets, they measure 7.9mm diameter, case length 53.7mm, case neck 8.5mm the case is tapered from 11.38 to 12.26mm and a rim diameter of 14.3mmthey are packaged in paper packets tied with string, figure 500 or so in the tin, only markings on back are 10 and 54, tin is not marked with anything I can relate to, any idea what it is and what its fired from.

Here are your pictures. This is 7.62x54R ammo from one of the combloc countries. It is cheaply available as milsurp and used on Mosin Nagant bolt action rifles and in the SVT-40 semi auto.
