what,s status of lazerus2000 and choppers stock developement

Damn shame, I've met Laz in person and he's a damn good, straight shooting guy.

yah, and when you do business with him he won't take your money and disappear for months on end, i have a CASM mount, i will write a un-biased review when i get back from Hawaii in a month....

let's clear the air shall we.... soley for the benefit of matty, as his continued posts taking pock shots at me are getting a little ridiculous.

I have a personal issue with the former Lazerus2000, who used to be a trusted friend and confidant..... it is none of anybody's business on CGN, period, as to what that issue is.
We parted ways, simple as that, and it was entirely my decision based on the standards i set for those i trust and allow into my personal life.
I have no intention of making personal or business decisions based on what Laz does but have been forced to soley by those in his "camp" on CGN.
Do I feel threatened as a business by Lazerus2000 and M14.ca , no, why would I?
and this is the part I don't get.
he is involved in making and marketting his website and his scope mount...... and hopefully thier new aluminum chassis stock will grace the canadian market at some point.
Do I like thier mount, based on the info that has been put in the public domain....... NO
I have an idea that we spawned last year in my living room, me and Satain, for a simialr mount.
and just to show that I am not what the Laz camp thinks i am...... and satain is gonna kill me but...... take that casm rail..... cut it back so it does not pas the stripper clip guide...... throw a aimpoint micro, vortex sparc or like me, a leupold tactical prismatic..... and you've got one hell of a good mount for a rear optic that allows using the stripper clip function for those who load that way for tac rifle and such. I'd buy one in a second ;) I'd proceed with throwing the cash down to make 50 or so last summer but then got wind of the casm mount and decided, that due to the "air" on CGN between me and Laz and certain folks close to him...... It would only be seen as a move against M14.ca ...... something I have never had any plan or desire to do.
My ONLY issue with the M14.ca crowd is that they know the rules of cgn but in the past have posted dealer like threads about the products. I think it is important we all are kept updated with new products when they come availlable but we have rules here and those of us who pay hundreds a year to advertise...... don't like that kind of back alley marketting ;) that's my ONLY issue with Laz as far as CGN goes...... He wants to be respected ON CGN for his contributions and his past accomplishments..... demands that respect actually, but yet has no trouble breaking the rules of advertising on the site....... that's my CGN related personal issue with Laz and I'm not the only dealer who felt this way..... I'm just an outspoken guy and don't believe that just because i have the "dealer" tag under my handle, I shouldn't speak as freely as the rest of you.

So..... should you do business with the former Lazerus2000 , why not? I believe he did have a pretty solid trader rating, never seen a thread where he ripped anyone off......
Should you buy m14.ca products....... again why not?
so for matty and those like him.... there are few, please let's just put the whole Laz thing to bed shall we?

For the public record, as this is a public domain, I have zero Ill will, personally or as a business towards the company that is M14.ca. I would be more than happy to see that business join CGN as a paid dealer. I would also be more than happy , once thier products are tested and reviewed by the marketplace, to be able to install those accessories for clients that make the choice to purchase them for install. I think personal issue aside, laz is more than capable of being the master mind behind the great products that could come out of m14.ca and I wish he would just stick to that instead of preaching the "thomas is bad" mantra to his van isl followers..... personally i think it's getting old.

You said it... let's all move forward. I too am looking forward to trying out some of the M14. ca kit. Hey... if it works well, it works well and that will benefit all the M14 addicts in the country. It's all about sharing the knowledge. Nobody has a monopoly on the wisdom of M14 out there. Well, actually, I have smashed my fingers once too often trying to loosen a match tuned gas cylinder from the barrel shoulders. LOL

cheers,

Barney

Yes you certainly sound unbiased.

Sorry i tell it how it is...which is not being biased, i have dealt with 2 canadain vendors which deal with m14s, one dicked me around(and many others), doesn;t really have any innovative product(lots of talk though:rolleyes:), mean while the other has been straight up, prompt and innovative...anyone who can read and has average mechanical aptitude and tune the m14, originality and good service is what will go the distance....
