What Sabot's are you using for hunting

Just wondering what sabot's you guys are using for hunting. I have a 50 inline and I am sighted in with 240gr Hornady's 44cal. Give me some info on what you are using and how they preformed on game.

MMP bulk sabots (black) , and bulk Hornady .451 300 grain XTP's. Three mule deer down this season with this combo.

Hornady 45 cal XTP 300 gr or Remington 303 gr fly the same out of my gun with 2- 50 gr. pyro.

For the last 4 years I have been using 300 gr. Nosler Partition bullet/sabot combination with 90 grains of loose Triple 7. Only 1 deer I shot went more than 10yds. Seems to be a good combo for my gun.

Do the heavier bullets fly better in a 1/28 twist rifle, such as a 300 gr compared to a 240.

Rifle: Traditions Pursuit Lt 50 cal. Hornady 250 and 300 gr SST's are very accurate and priced quite reasonable. 100 gr of 777 granular, or 100gr Pyrodex Select, both give 2" groups at 100 M. Tried Pyrodex and 777 pellets, both performed ok but I prefer the powder.

Well last season being the 1st with my Encore I used an MMP (bulk) sabot and a 300gr Hornady SST. Next season I will be using the same MMP sabot and my cast 300gr .452 dia LEE bullets.
