What safety gear do you use when casting bullets?

Being new to casting I have read a few online guides to casting and have jerry rig a set-up. I use a turkey fryer for smelting and a coleman stove for casting. This set-up is used in my garage.

I have a old kitchen exhast fan the vent outside that is right above the smelting/casting pot. I leave the door open a small amout to get a good cross wind. Also I where cover-alls, heavy leather gloves, and a harmful dust mask. Also wear a pair of safety glass (wifes orders!)

Am I forgetting anything? Is there somthing else I should use?

I wear safety glasses and a respirator, when casting. It probably wouldn't hurt to wear a leather apron, for those little pops in the lead pot, would hate to have any hot lead sticking to your skin.
When I'm sizing or reloading lead bullets, I always wear nitrile gloves .They are thin enough , it's like you're not wearing gloves, but they'll keep you from absorbing any lead through your skin.

I wear safety glasses and sometimes leather gloves, I cast in the front of the garage with the door open so I don't worry too much about fumes.

Be a little fussy about your cover alls. No nylon or polyester content. 100% cotton or canvas is the way.Same with any exposed clothing. Pant cuffs over boots as had been mentioned. Good leather gloves or better , welding gauntlets. Safety glasses for sure. Casting outdoors I don't worry about fumes as casting temps are below those required to put lead vapor in the air and there is lots of ventilation for burning off fluxes, etc.. I also put on a heavy leather apron as I like to cast sitting at a bar stool (high) and any splashes are caught on the apron. Most important, if you can foresee the possibility of a burn caused by something you intend to do , do something to change your procedure and avoid it. Make sure your bench is very solid, more so than you mught initially consider. Twenty pounds of molten alloy is a real hot potatoe if the bench gives way.

Ok so skip the range hood and do my casting outdoors. Might be a little chilly with the current -27C weather. Guess I will have to wait till it warms up some before I cast.

Once again thanks guys for the help and advice.
