I own a Gamo Silent Stalker and the stock scope it came with is absolute garbage. I am planning on upgrading to a Leapers 3-12X44 SWAT AO. From the research i have done, I found it is a great scope, but im not sure if it can stand up to the multi directional recoil from my airgun. I am curious to see which scopes every one else uses on their airguns and the success you have had with your scope?

Actually, the cheap $50.00 4X32 Centerpoint (or Crossman) scope they sell at C.T. works quite nicely on airguns. It's a small accurate unit which holds up well to abuse.

A couple of years ago, after a friend and shooting buddy passed away, there were a number of items I purchased from his family that were taking care of his estate. One of the items is a 3-9x32mm Bushnell Sportview, Adjustable Objective Rifle/Airgun scope. Thinking was that I may get a decent air gun.

I am using a dedicated Schmidt and Bender on mine, leapers will work fine, as will any used leupold you can find in the EE. old bushnell scope chiefs can handle the reciprocating recoil just fine as well.

I find the bushnell banner 4-12x40 w a/o to be the best for yhe buck. If you have a problem just send to the GTA. I lost a elevation cap and they sent me one for free.

If your Gamo is a PAL-rated rifle, make sure you get an airgun-rated scope. The Leapers scope to which you have referred is a good one for your rifle. Cheap Centerpoint scopes will likely cause you grief before long.

I guess I could mount one of my SIII's on it, but I don't think they take the double sided recoil of a springer air rifle... There is no doubt at if Signtron builds a scope that can take the recoil, then that would be ideal to mount on a Weihrauch.

Been using this one on my Diana 34 this past year. A little more money than some of the lower end ones, but it has worth it compared to my Leapers. Parallax adjustment down to 10 yards and has a warranty.

I know someone who has been using a Barska 3-12x from Amazon. I had a look at it and the glass is clear. He says he's had no issues maintaining point of impact after making adjustments.

1 more vote for a cheapo Leapers, I've had 1 for a few years now and it has been twice the scope I thought it would be for the $89 I paid on ebay... I think they also made 1 before called the 'bug buster' that would parallax to super close range. I also had a Walther 4x airgun scope on an older Phantom springer I built up, it worked fantastic also, held zero forever..

I don't have a springer but as an airgunner who talks to other airgunners, I know that choosing CenterPoint scopes has nothing to do with being cheap. They hold up well to the 2 way shock of a springer and CenterPoint even makes a few crossbow scopes. My CO2, PCP and pumpers all have Either AO Leapers and my pistol has a 2.5x NX Star.

bushnell made a scopechief, you can find them used for cheap, they can take the back and forth, and are a great optic for the money.

I have a stoeger ao scope that my lgs put on my savage mk ii to begin with
average quality but good bang for the buck and parallax adjustment works well
it is actually an air gun and rim fire scope and might be a good fit
