What scope mount do you have on your M1A?

Ive ordered direct,,I prefer the picatinny style, easier to mount your scope,,

Did you go with the high or low mount? I'm thinking high simply for the fact it will give better clearance for ejecting rounds as some have said Newer Springfield rifles tend to eject brass higher?...I'm a noob at this platform.

High, you can leave the rear sights on, and never had an ejection problem. See Tony Bens vid. below

Excellent!!!..I'm thinking that's the way I'm going to go. I like the idea that no modifications are needed to the rifle. I'm all about simplicity and seems to be a decent product from the reviews I've watched.

$20 aluminum airsoft mount.
After some tweaking to make it fit, and use of the correct mounting screw, it's perfectly aligned and holds zero.

Fwiw, the Bassett is for people that remove their mounts. They sometimes do loosen.

The Brookfield type mounts are meant to be a permanent install and won't loosen over time.

I searched online pretty extensively and didnt find anyone in Canada that sells these. I just ordered directly from the company. Super simple and they are set up to ship internationally. It even shows you in Canadian funds what it's going to cost you. Shipping is a little steep but to be expected as it's coming out of Texas.
