What scope to buy

I'd love to get a look through those new Bushnell 6500's. I bought a 4200 2.5x10 from a friend used this evening for 250 bucks. I will mount it next weekend. I think that 6500 looks like a serious piece of optics.

Save yourself a lot of future trouble and get a VXIII in the magnification of your choice. I drive a lot on dirt roads when I go hunting and had problems with my Nikon Monarch ucc losing it's zero.

With my Leopold (4.5-14x40 LR) the problems are over. The Nikon is now doing duty on a Anschutz .22 silhoette rifle.

Seems both Leupold and bushnell are the brands of choice. Now just have to decide on how much funds to put towards the scope. This will help determine what I'm going to get.

why the abusive post

The forums here are meant to be part of a "community", where people share their experiences, ideas, hints etc. and pass along lessons they've learned.

Instead, you are immediately critical of another members choice in firearm.

Perhaps this forum isn't for you.

Khales,
Zeiss,
Swarovsky,
Leupold.

although, above scopes are to good for the pry-bar you buy for a gun.

That is also an excellent choice, I looked through one my gun counter guy bought to put on his .416 rigby and when I held it up and looked at the exit door of the store it actually LOOKED BRIGHTER through the scope than with my naked eye. You can't go wrong with the Leupold as they have the best warranty in the business. Hope you bag a monster!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the replies guys I'm still not sure but pretty much leaning towards Leupold. I'm sure my finances will play a role in the decision.
Cheers
