what shells dose my model 55 shoot(not marked) and where can i find a mag or 2

ok long story short... dose my model 55 shoot 2-3/4 or 3 inch shells not marked on the receiver barrell or mag

and where can i find 1 or 2 mags i want to try and "mod" 1 or 2 and don't feel like potential damaging my only mag

You can play it safe and shoot 2-3/4" as you can shoot those in 3" chambers as well. Take it to a gunsmith and have him check if 3" will fit.

I think depending on the year it could be either 2 3/4" or 3". It would have to be measured. Numrich in the US will likely have mags for it but they want a fortune for mailing to other countries. You could try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton.
