what shot/slugs do you use in your 1100

i just want to see what you feed your remmy 1100 semi-auto so far (ive only had it a few weeks) ive been using #8 on the range aming at some flying clay with death-junky

1 1/8oz of No.8's at about 1200FPS from a 2 3/4" AA.

Whatever will fit into it i shoot. If it's buck you're after than a good quality slug or 00 buck. For high geese BBB (Note not to be shot through full choke, i seized mine up pretty good when i forgot it was in there)
For skeet 7/8 oz #7 And so on.

I have had the odd target load fail to fully eject and also 2-3 heavy turkey loads fail to cycle. (out of 100.) If it goes BANG then your gun likes it.

Perfectly fine, unless you got a Mossberg 935 which has an overbored barrel to 10 gauge size.

Slugs in a semi are just like any other gun for the most part. Easier on the shoulder too!

Can't have them they must be Super Magnum, ordinary Magnums don't kill!

They are fine in semis.

I only use trap rounds in mine since it is a trap version and thats all I use it for.

Using Federal 7 1/2's trap loads....

aaronfisher, if your barrel states 3" shells you are good to go. If not forget it. Doesn't matter if the receiver is magnum, if someone has put a 2 3/4" barrel on it you can only shoot 2 3/4".
