What should .22 cost?

Alaway depend on what are you want to do with your ammo. Actually im buying ammo for + or - 5$ per 50, but what im seeking is constency and bulleye only. If the only thing you are looking for is casual plinking and have fun without looking for tight grouping, go for cheap ammo then.

Lebaron had the Win Wildcat at 16.99 a brick. It's the best for my Norc, other than the premium stuff. Before going out and buying thousands of rounds, you may want to try a box or so of a whole bunch of them to see what your gun likes. Even among identical guns, some will love one ammo, while the next gun will have conniption fits with it.

bulk should be from around $12 to $20 for say 525 or so (depending on brand and type) reason I don't like semi autos is they are brand and type dependent they tend to like high velocity stuff

Those are prices from a couple years ago. There's very little around these days under $20 a brick. And if anyone is advertising under $20 a brick, I will bet it's out of stock.

As above, the Winchester Wildcats at $17 for 500 are as cheap as you get.

I've not bought .22lr for a few years bought 10,000 rounds back in about 2010 I have not shot that much small game or reactive targets yet

Don't quote gas prices from 2010 either as if it is today's price, BAD IDEA.

Folks should NOT quote prices from several years ago. BAD INFO.

Also, as for the OP's deal, I know that some places are selling CCI Mini Mags, 1500 in an ammo box for around $125. Is the ammo actually Mini Mags, not Blazer?

If so, then the price is very reasonable.

Yes it is Actually mini mags.

This is what it is(picture pulled form google)
