What should I know about Kel-Tec’s SU-16 TAC?

I saw one at a gun store yesterday and I’ve never ever seen one or even heard about this before.

For 1100, is it an acceptable NR alternative to other options in the same price bracket?!
 
Considering the wk180-c and a used RDB are in that price range, I would personally opt for those instead. That being said, the su16 is a decent rifle.

I wouldn't waste money on it. Every other option whether the same price, higher or lower by a couple of hundred is a better option. Mini 14 or VZ58 are good alternatives.
 
I have one it has been a good accurate rifle ( Nephew has claimed it as his ! 11 year old ) can be a pain to get it to run after you Disassemble it for cleaning but once you get it figured out it is a fun gun haven't had any stoppages or FTF . Light and packs up small one of the cheeper mag fed autos out there got mine for under 800.00 all in . Feels cheep in the hands but it does shoot well .
 
I have one and it has worked good so far. Some earlier models had issues with the receivers breaking
The wk 180 is a better choice now that it is available IMO and it's less money then the su16 tactical
