$100-125 is a fair value for both parties. $75 would be a good deal!
its about 149 to much, just a personal preference,i like the 39,64,840..etc anything but the 60 i had one blow up in my hands using new cci stingers, any other cooey is great but the sliding tube mag is the major flaw with this one
I paid 418.00 tax in for a new mod 60 with a 4p power weaver scope in 1958.
I never had a problem of any sort for 56 yrs and tens of thousands of rds thru it.
Juh???
I think you're building a trend on a single anomaly, you must be an American banker.
I have almost a dozen model 60's, some of them have fired more rounds than ml of urine I've pissed away in my life, and still feed & fire perfectly. S, L, LR ammo all works great, and I've shot subsonic quiets and tons of stingers. Sliding tube mag is an economical and rock-solid design.
$418.00 in 1958??
I'm a fan of 60's. Hunted with one since a boy. Never had a problem with CCI hp. No problems with the tube mag.
I bought one in September for $110. Slightly better metal, but cracked stock nicely repaired with epoxy and brass screw. Shoots very nicely.
I traded a totally refinished Model 60, Model 39 and a winchester model 67 with finger grooves....for a complete tire change and balancing included. Not sure if that answers the question as to what a model 60 is worth.
