I'm just looking at getting a JR Carbine in 40 S&W, but am lost as to what sights to go with.
I'm open to red dots, but don't have alot of experience with them.
I've seen a set of flip-up open sights that looked interesting, but don't know the manufacturer.
All suggestions welcome.

I run a Vortex Strikefire with 2x Magnifier on mine. My BUIS is the ARMS #40 rear and matching front (can' t recall the #). Works well and indexes good too. Enjoy the JR. It is suprisingly accurate and fun.. being NR is a bonus as well!

I am starting with Magpul MBUS flip up sights for my JR. My plan is to add the Vortex Strikefire as budget permits. Word here on CGN is that these two sights co-witness nicely.

My plan is to install a AR carry handle & AR handguards & front sight post.

I'm interested.
I'd like to see it when done. I'm an old school guy. trained on the C1, didn't like C7 when it first issued but did like the 150+ rds carried and the selective fire option. All said I like the carry handle idea.
Send me pics if you can.

I will post pic's when I get around to putting it together
I'm leaning towards the old school full stock & rifle length hand guards
I'm not a big fan of the collapsible stocks even though I have 3 mounted on ARs . I'm thinking since the JR has a 19" barrel, full length A2 would suit it better than carbine hand guards .

Love to see some pics if you got'm

OK, here you are: Burris FF II in a AR-F3 mount (lazer is a SIG)

Nice looking JR!
Burris ff, sweet but is it $$$?

Magpul stock.
Ambi selector ( you must be a southpaw)
What is that forend? I liiiike it!

Thanks for the look. Bet ya it works as fast as it looks. Very nice.

Any chance we could see a pic of the whole gun, or at least more of the fore end? That would be great. Thx.

Hogue mid length forearm and grip. Burris FF II is on sale for around $200 at Le Barons (Probably why lots of guys are having a hard time selling them used on EE for $300+) Magpul stock is nicer the M4 style as it has a rubber butt plate and doesn't slide around. Dumped 10 .40 S&W 180gr. XTP HP's into a nice fat porcupine as fast as you could pull the trigger.
