What sight for JR Carbine?

I'm interested.
I'd like to see it when done. I'm an old school guy. trained on the C1, didn't like C7 when it first issued but did like the 150+ rds carried and the selective fire option. All said I like the carry handle idea.

Well the make over is done.
Had it out today & it handles great
Now if I can only get the thing to shoot without jamming & FTF I'd be happy
Guess I should have gone 9mm instead of 40

Great minds think alike, did the same thing about 6 months ago. Mine's in 9mm and runs like a champ.

I used a mill.

I didn't trim my barrel nut though I machined a spacer

I've got a Lucid HD7 on mine that co witness with the sights from my XCR, but not with the 2x magnifier on.

Hey, I have a quick question for you guys. When I hit the mag release, the mag doesn't fall out, I have to manually remove it. Is this normal?
