My current gen4 Glock 17 is bone stock. Kept it that way since I got it with plastic sights. I've owned number of other Glocks in the past and had factory steel sights, truglo night sights, trigicon HD ansd factory night sights.

Recently been thinking of changing them with either hiviz fiber optic front only or Warren tactical sights either plain or with a fiber optic front. Anyone running them on their Glock? Feel free to post pics of whatcha got.

Warren Tactical - Sevigny. I like the wide notch rear and narrow front fiber optic much better than the factory sights.

I just went through the whole 'which Glock sights" debate with myself a few weeks ago after acquiring a Gen 3 G17. Seems like the tritium/night sights/tactical/hook rear stuff is all the rage right now and there are certainly some cool and interesting sights out there. There also seems to be a lot of compromise with the various sights styles. Fiber optic is bright during the day but can be more fragile. Tritium is great in the dark but wasted in daylight. Plain sights can be great for accurate target shooting but not as good for self defence. And so on.

For me, it came down to what the gun would actually be used for. Practically, my Glock is a range gun only. I can't carry it, I don't do tactical training or night shoots, and a home defence scenario is such a remote possibility that I didn't feel it was necessary to include as a factor in my decision making process for picking sights.

So yeah, I guess my suggestion is to choose sights that will work best for the intended purpose of the gun. I decided that I wanted sights that would be visible during the day, but not distractingly busy and would allow me to work on precision as well as speed when I feel like it.

By the way, I ended up with a Dawson set with fiber optic front and plain black rear. Works great for my purpose!

Plain black rear and FO front. I feel like that covers 99% of my shooting. I go narrow front and narrow notch because my eyes are still good.

Speed sights with Tritium, fastest on target sights I have ever used. Just can't get them in Canada. I have tried Trijicon, Trijicon HD and Glock Steel night sites, and I find the speedsights are the best for me. I also like the factory plastic Glock sights, as I'm apparently a bit strange that way. As my eyes get older, the brighter the better......................

I just received some Dawson competition sights from freedom ventures and they are top notch quality with great sight picture. Of course the service at freedom ventures was excellent also

Warren tactical carry black rear/fiber front on all my glocks except for a g17 with warren tactical competition because it came like that. The rest of my non-glock pistols will be sporting dawson precision soon i hope.
