Trying to decide what sights to go with for my M4. I took it to the range a couple of times and shot at 50yards using irons. I don't have a gong or silhouettes at my range so I don't really care for shooting it at100yards. I have a couple of scoped guns and enjoy shooting them and I'm sure I'd love shooting the M4 scoped but it just wouldn't look/feel right. :S I never had any guns with red dots which is likely the best option. I've shot a few but I don't know enough about them. I'd like to have some magnification if possible. anything like that available at a reasonable price?

Millet DMS-1 and an ADM qd mount.
You get the both of both worlds, 1x for up close and 4x for those longer shots.
Edit: If you want to get more spendy there is the Trijicon accupoint (me likes) and the Leupold Mk4 SPR 1.5-5 (me owns).

I had a holo sight on mine and didn't like it, to use to a scope I guess. For some time now it has been sitting with nothing but I am going to put on a 4-14 as I have it laying around. I would agree with Millet DMS-1 would be the best choice for me.
