What sights would you recommend for Glock 17 Gen 4? IDPA and IPSC

Exactly. Unless you know that your potential IDPA shooting involves low light stages (not the norm), you'll get far more benefit from the day-brightness of a quality fibre optic front and the less cluttered sight picture of a straight-black rear.
 
If you order these ones, make sure to get the ones with the front sight in sharp focus.

The rear sight dots are only bright because of the flash. the dull rear sight with bright front forces you eye onto the front sight and helps with speed shooting

What ever you buy insure the front sight stands out more then the rear ie; fiber optic front, plain rear.
