Size of rings are 30 mm - to fit the scope body. Height of rings - almost every maker has different dimensions. "High" or "Med" for one brand often no where near same height as "High" or "Med" for another brand. Is a thing to start with blocks or shims - two, of same height - set on the picatinny rail - set scope on top - roughly to the required eye relief - adjust with more or less height - same for front and back - to get clearance that you want for Objective to barrel at the front and Eye Piece to bolt handle at the rear. Measure the blocks - look at various makers and find out how they measure their various height descriptions. Had read of same being done with plasticine or modelling clay - much harder to get front and rear to exact same height, which your ring set will be.

I would suggest that you check out the air gun source web site and look at the adjustable height rings.

I've been using them on my 22s and air guns for a while now and I think they are great.

You can set the exact scope slope you need and have a range of height as well.

A cool side benefit is if you dont have a zero stop, you can set the slope so the scope zeros just off the bottom limit, then you have maximum uppage available and a defacto zero stop.

"High" or "Med" for one brand often no where near same height as "High" or "Med" for another brand.

This is very true and I find especially buying generic rings on Amazon, there is a very wide variation of what constitutes medium, high and very high.

Use 30mm tube rings with heights that allow the 50mm objective to be mounted as close as possible to the barrel without touching it. Measure very carefully.
