What size shell for Norinco HP9 12G?

I just received a like new Norc HP9 12G 18" barrel that I bought from a member here. The gun is in excellent condition but there is no manual and the only marking on the side of the barrel is 3" magnum. The receiver says Norinco HP9 made in China

Since I am new to this and want to go out and shoot this gun I am wondering if these Norcs take 3" shells only or can I feed it the 2 3/4" shells?

I ask because I have those shells on hand for my Mossberg.

You can feed it shells of a shorter length but not of a longer length compared to what is marked on the barrel. 2-3/4 are good to go then.
 
Thanks Olegs, thats what I thought...

Just wanted to check to be on the safe side.

3 weeks vacation starts tomorrow and a new shotgun... Can it get any better? I will be at the range bright and early LOL
