what spare parts needed for a glock

one of mine has over 50k shot (g17 GEN2).i needed to change the striker spring, and the striker itself because the end that goes into the primer broke.otherwise, apart from an internal spring kit, there's not much that can break on a glock.it's more about extreme wear and tear after tens of thousands of rounds. however, all my glocks gets the full lenght stainless steel GR mod .i don't like the plastic GR idea on any gun, while it's probably for peace of mind (since i don't like the idea of a plastic GR haha).

new to the glockmania was wondering what spare are needed to have in the tool box? for gen5 17 and 19x ...

At a minimum... I'd say a magazine, a recoil spring, and a trigger return spring. (Anything else is gravy.)

Fortunately, Glock pistols are well-supported, even in Canada, and (I think) there is every reason to believe that they will continue to be well-supported.

I would add striker spring cups. Not that they will break, but very easy to lose when taking striker assembly apart.

Will also add to the list: extractor, extractor spring, plunger, plunger spring, front sight screw and special wrench for said screw. Probably the only specialized Glock tool in existence but that front sight screw is VERY low profile and I did have it come loose on me.

thanks a lo t.

Recoil spring, trigger spring, ejector and...perhaps the sights. I've seen some Glock factory rear NS flying off after the pistol was dropped. However if you can find it...you should be able to re-install it with no problem :)
