what spotting scope is this sniper using?

i dont think thats a flag since its not re white and blue, also the rifles we make dont have that square bar on the front like that, we make'em with clean barrels.

U need to do ur research before u post incorrect or uninformed info.

I'd agree it's a leupold spotter. Going by LF's NSN list, it appears there's three in the US Army system:

-leupold spotting optical model GR12 6650-01-491-0246 ? ? 40x60mm spotting scope 11.5 inches long
-leupold MARK 4 tactical spotting scope 12-40x60mm w/mil dot 6650-01-504-8456 1766.01 ? this is a RFI item 12.4 inches long 12.7x minimum and 32.1x maximum
-leupold GOLDEN RING spotting scope 1240-01-552-3719 ? ? multicoat four lens system scope, armor coated rugged water proof

what's the deal w/ the honeycomb cover over the lens? i presume it's to cover the reflection, which has given away so many snipers in the past!?!
