What Spotting Scopes are you guys using?

Razor 85mm 25-60x. Heavy but mindblowingly sharp:

I am still using my old Bausch and Lomb 15-60 that I bought in 1971. IT COST ME TWO FULL WEEKS WAGES!

It has travelled many thousands of miles in trucks, boats, on horseback, and snowmobiles. Literally thousands of miles, and it has been in the Stewart River for a swim one time! That is another story.

The body is all scratched and worn, but one can still see thirty cal holes at 300 meters. Let`s see now, 42 years of use divided into original purchase price that seemed so "extravagant" at the time....yep, it was actually the least expensive one to buy.

I have a Leupold Mark 4 12-40 x 60 as well with a P4F reticle. Again you get what you pay for. What the scope's intended use is, will usually determine what you decide on. But when it comes to glass, the "buy once cry once" statement usually applies. I am not a big fan of angled eyepieces, even high end ones but thats just me. They are great on the range but try using one as a member of a sniper/spotter team and engaging multiple tgts when time is of the essence, not saying they are not quality glass, just probably not the best for that application. Some of those scopes are huge and not suited for sticking in your pack when you got a bunch of other stuff in there as well. For it's intended use. the Mark 4 is hard to beat unless you want to get into a Hensoldt or the like. Not many spotters are available with reticles either but it definitely increases what you can do with it. A bit long winded but I think you get the point.

One of the reasons I like the Leupold Mark 4 is the FFP and the mildot reticle, corrections are very easy to call. I run a PR with Mil/Mil so you can see the advantage.
