Wow, I saw that in the auction thread. I'd really like to find a source for these. That's the only synthetic stocked SKS I've liked. Time to hit the google.

Districorp used to sell these in the 90s. Price was around $80.

I watched a Canadian-made B-action flick made in the late 90s...the name of it eludes me as well as the actors...and there was a gun fight between the hero and the villain. The hero used a Mini-14 with what looked like a stainless 40-rd mag while the villain had an SKS sporting one of these stocks.

I would love to borrow it to make a copy for myself. A local guy has a stock lathe that can transfer an already made stock to the machine for a semi rough copy.

I beleive that stock only came on 'model M's(?)

you would be correct , it was to circumvent new US law at the time .

in canada i have seen SKS-M with reg SKS-D stock.
