We can apply for antlerless WT deer tags, but we have to buy the licence early. Yesterday was the deadline and the Service NB office here in SJ was swamped. There were almost 60 people in line before me, but I was still out in less than 1/2hr.

The deer tag will be easy to fill this year. Lanark Highlands is overflowing with deer. This will be my first time to hunt black bear, but I think the odds will be good. Looking forward to having a bear rug for the Winter. Best of luck to everyone.
