What the frig is this?

Rangefinder / Illuminator called the Storm.

Made by Insight, which is same company (L3 Communications) that makes the eotech lights which are also popular on the AR15 platform

Not a An/psq-23. "Just a" L3 AN/PEQ-15. Say you need to designate a target at night (even at day if pilot/vehicle has IR) and you don't want the enemy to see a big ass red laser that's what its for.

Most mall ninja thing you can buy. Unless you own Nods its a $3000 cool looking red laser.

I would know, I use to own one :p

You can get a DBAL for like 1400, civilian legal too. IF your after one

Unfortunately the only distributor I found is R. Nichols, and they seem to only deal with LE sales only. On top of that, they seem to be mostly getting APITAL, which are sweet, but also cost about the same as a Kia.

Best luck I've had is some US sights that don't treat it as a firearm component, and more of a...optical device? Still looking at about $1500.

So short version carbine, no I don't. Sorry

I heard from a friend in the US most places have been sold out for months. It takes months for your export permit to be approved (big chance of it being denied too and your out $250.)

Talk to the guys on the airsoft forums. They all have hot items. Asked one guy how he went about importing some PVS15s the other weeks. So full of sh** had not even the first clue about importing anything.

If your willing to take the risk of running the border, or risking a sketchy American with your money to sanitize your mail go for it lol

Just an update, managed to get my hands on one of the Class 1, DBAL-i2s. It's an actual IR emmiting one. It's not as powerful as the PEQ's, and isn't really capbable of target designation. Awesome as an aiming device though, really clear POA with and without Nods on.
