I've seen plenty of those things out on surrounding area farms. Good little gun but I'd get it checked to make sure its ok to fire with modern ammunition and the gun is mechanically sound. Where did you find it?

Maybe a piece of Canadian history.
And an A-5 behind it.

Ju.........Juh..........Juhh............Juhhunk?..........me lawrd...............:runaway:

cool cheers . I got it from a mate with an old canadian 410 pumpaction . a browning sweet sixteen semi auto shot gun and a 1942 .303 no1 smle rifle they were his dads . he just gave them all to me as hes never had a fire arms licence they all havent been used for at least 15-20 years but they are still oily . I was supprised at the condition of them all

Cooey made the Sure Shot for sears, and Ranger models for Eatons, though it sometimes gets confusing, as they don't say Cooey anywhere on them. But are same as the Cooey model 60 / Repeater equibalents.
In it's current state you could probably get $75 / $100 if you're lucky. With some cleaning and a good goin' over maybe more. Will shoot any 22LR just fine. As long as it's totally not rusted out. Cycling is sometimes an issue. Bolt has a spring-steel extractor that gets bent/ gummed up and affects feeding, likes to be clean and very lightly lubed for best performance.
All said , if you want to sell it let me know..

it dosnt have a spot of rust on it . but it dose look az if its had a well used life . il take it to the range this weekend and put some blazer 22lr through it haha see what happens ........... . mind you if my tempory att comes through this week il take it with me to dante when I pick up my new 9mm p99 and get them to give it a once over
