Black Rifles
I have the Collector Grade publication books on the M16 family and the titles are Black Rifle, and Black Rifle II. The term Black Rifle is loosely used, like the term Flintlock is used for muzzle loader guns. People that don't have much knowledge about military firearms or firearms in general refer to all guns that aren't covered in wood and have big magazines, as assault rifles. Over the years I have had the opportunity to own most of the black rifles.

These are the ones I had at one time and now they are history. But had a ball when they were legal. And that doesn't cover BREN, MG 42, 1919 A4, 50 BMG, BAR US, M1 rifles and carbines, G43, MP 40, Rising, FN 49, and Thompson variants.
These are history now, only have the pictures, and video's of them on the range. It was great to be able to hunt with an AR 15 before they became bad guns.
