What time of year does the gift card deal usually happen?

If I remember correctly, about once a year Tenda does a gift card deal. I think 10%-15% off. Anyone recall what time of year they usually run this deal? How does it usually work? I remember it being in certain set denominations, but don't recall much else. Could you spend them right away?

Ohh ok. I thought it was every year. Looked it up on RFD, and it looks like it's usually in May/June.

Last year I saw it pop up around mid-November, just before Black Friday. Some folks mentioned earlier deals too, but that one was the biggest. I’d double-check giftcardmall.org around that time—they usually update things ahead of any promos, and it's been a solid source for deal info.
