But still, that guy down the power lines,,,, he's doing something..... What in the heck could he be doing? let me see.... oh he's setting up some bait or checking dsome tracks down there.... what kind of tracks?;;;;;; BOOOOM!!! OOPS Better bail out.... oh, I hope I didn't kill him...
Orange is not a solution. It takes a lot of restrain not to use a scope as a binocular when the latter is missing from your camp list.....
I was hoping you would chime in with that WIN94, If I notice someone pointing a rifle at me, that monument would flash through my head I would be going to ground real quick. I 'd be a lot more worried about cover and lot less worried about teaching lessons etc.

orange is a solution if people arent wearing it, and forgetting your binoc's (not directed as an attack on you torro just your statement ) to be able to check out a target safely is irresposible as a hunter. I have never used my scope to check a target.

I don't wear any blaze in the bush at all, just full camo. I checked in the mirror and I'm sure I don't look like a bighorn sheep.
The morons aren't the folks wearing what they want, they're the ones pointing rifles at other hunters. I ain't never seen a camo moose.

crazy_davey said:So you saw movement on a cut line and used your binocs to double check, you did right.
Did that person wearing full camo look like a moose, elk, deer, or bear? I have never seen any animals that dress up in camo for hunting season. Have you? Maybe wholesale gives hunted animals a deal on good camo before hunting season starts![]()
There is no reason to be pointing a rifle at anything other than a target, unless you intend to kill it. Anyone who does not know this needs more education on hunting. Please educate yourself before you kill someone.
Like Boo said earlier, point a rifle at me and find out.

I guess my eyesight is better than most, if i see movement in the bush 50 or 1000 m away im going to check it out, i mean im not there to sight see im there to hunt. you cant disinguish a deer from a guy in camo from super far away if all you saw was movement. Since there are people out there who use a scope to find out, i personally wear a bit of orange if its going to help save my life. Hell when i was a kid in the late 70's we used to hunt in jeans and a orange jacket. Nowadays guys sit in full camo covered in mule piss to get a deerI guess either the deer are gettin smarter or people want to be rambo

In his original post he said he had to wave his arms to get his attention. If the other guy never knew he was there then he (Boo) was way off base for doing what he did.
