What to do with 45Lbs. of brass and a golf ball????

And that, my friend, is why Canadian gun laws work. They are, for the most part, unenforceable, but the fear of prosecution is enough to keep the peasants necks under the boots of the lords.

With Murphy living with me on a full time basis, i don't take a chance that can totally #### me. Anyone that is willing to take the chance of being bankrupt with a large family really shouldn't have that family, whether it be a stupid law or not.

Well.............I guess if Mr. Wetblanket is so worried about the peasants producing some little wee cannon a foot long that gently lofts a golf ball no further than his granola eating freinds can hit one with their 3 wood.............would it be alright with his highness if we started producing cannons 10 feet long that can hurl a pail full of concrete clear across the city? They are afraid of small? No problems.............just make 'em big then!

And here I thought Klunk's little 30mm anti tank cannon would be just perfect for muzzle loader white tail season next week................i have changed my mind folks..................I want to hunt deer with something that I need a forward observer with! Drop 25! Fire for effect!

Thanks Mr. Wetblanket for making me realise that size does matter!

Canadian gun laws at work again. Little tiny guns are verboten but great big guns, as long as they are fuse or flintlock fired are fine. Are flechette rounds legal? I can't remember. Deer hunting just got ugly. Are you still bowhunting if you shoot a five gallon bucket of broadheads? No blackpowder season in BC.

No problem!

The design has been completely changed.
In the hope of pleasing the Master Wordsmith, who carefully crafts the victimless paper crime.
To torment a few harmless citizens.

This new iteration is solely a safety device. In exactly the same way as other similar devices are legal devices.
The new MGB1 MKII is a line-throwing and pyrotechnics projector, as well as a marking machine.

The bore in particular has received special attention.
A reduction in the bore size from 1.75" to 1.65"

By reducing the bore size to 1.65". A standard USGA American golf ball measuring 1.68" Dia.. Will no longer enter the barrel.
ALL possibility of using this tool to fire American golf balls. HAS BEEN ELIMINATED.
It will however, accept the UK Standard golf ball of 1.62"Dia.
Perhaps for special important people, or even Government use.

We feel that these changes will serve to reassure all the readers of this thread, that our intentions are peaceful.

But I digress.
All your base already belong to us Eh!:canadaFlag::cheers:

Battery holder "D" size 2 cell. a pair of "D" rechargeable NMIH cells. Whatever length of wire makes you fell comfortable.
In a nice camo (or safety orange) box with a safety switch.

A person could make a set of pre-charged igniters.
Priming charge and plug, contained in some sort of quick change gizmo.

as soon as i saw that hunk of brass i envisioned this;

There is a fear complex out there as the laws are vague and meaningless as to a proper definition everybody can read an understand .every time I take my cannon out people of all ages try to determin if it is a legal device .I've only had it under a year and now use it away from the legal minds in my area ,after all I got it for my pleasure and fun
Cheers Peter

Ain't that the painful truth?

You started off with 45 lbs of brass. What did you end up with? 8? 10? Those walls look shaved pretty thin !

Uhmmm, They are not the same project.
I do believe. Else I would wonder how he turned brass into steal.
If so- I can't do that on my lathe , please sir show me how.

A quick change device that would allow you to screw a bolt with fuse sized hole in it, perhaps?(modifying it back into a fuse fired device)
