It sure is, my neighbors retriever go it a couple years ago. It took the dog months to recover at home, after spending 16 grand and 6 weeks at the vet. they sure did love their dog.

Peanut butter mixed with tuna works great. Even some dry dog or cat food works great

best baits that come to mind are can of tuna, and sweet corn

Peanut butter and chicken or pork chop bones work for me. Sometimes you have to wire the bones in place in the cage. The coons will lift them so gently and back out of the trap without tripping it.
