The lower is what the law legally recognizes as a AR15 so that is all they can actually "confiscate" They could make a case for the upper in regards that it can only mate with a AR15 lower, Otherwise every single piece needed to make a functioning AR15 is just a gun part that can be used in multiple other rifles so they cannot demand we give up those unless they are banning every gun in Canada.
