What to do with my broken sig 226?

Gee, if RNicholls told you 2 years, that means it won't be less than 4 years at the earliest, that's if they don't just outright loose it, or scrap it, at which point they'll question your sanity because they'll have no proof of receiving it.

More than likely! Oh well, if it gets fixed it get fixed. If they lose it they can refund me my full purchase price. At least it is out of my safe and no longer depreciating my other firearms. Mosquito=####

still think this is best option :) (IF canam or marstar can get the part in from norinco) talk to the guy at is it TSE? he's supposed to be a sig expert and dealer, or could a gunsmith weld on the wings onto a sig locking block?.

(I personally would never rely on nicholls).

down to the SIG 226 - 40 and the CZ75B - 40

CZ is a lot cheaper and from what I see just as good a handgun
Any thoughts on this

From Sigarms web site, European Arms Distributor from North Vancouver is also a distributor for Sig Sauer pistols.

Try them!

how about an update on this one, im curious to see how this turned out. did you end up getting the sig fixed somhow or not?...

Hey guys/gals thanks for all your input on this one. Never knew there were so many options for this problem. (I've kind of disappeared for a while cause we're in the middle of exam time here in Waterloo). You may be relieved to hear that I won't be having it deactivated to put on display or anything. I've actually decided to sell it for classroom instructional purposes. In that scenario it wouldn't have to be fired, and I wouldn't be bastardizing it haha.
