What to do with my Norc 1911?

Just shoot it

I have an older style Norc 1911 commander length that is parkerized, it already has new grips, extended slide stop and a mag well. I was wondering what you Norc guru's suggest I do from here? I am thinking of sinking around $300 or so into it.

Buy ammo or reloading components and shoot the h__l out of that pistol!!!

Took my "polished turd" norinco 1911a1-c to the range for the first time last night. Burnt up around 300rds. Shot just as good as any other 1911. The only thing I'll change is the rear sight. My daughter and her boyfriend just had their worm turned, they loved it.

Novak competition rear sights fit the dovetail perfectly, then all you need is a higher front staked in (which is cheap). The sight picture is terrific.
