Folks, do you have any ideas? I bought a fibreglass GI stock from "Hungry". Wondering if I should just try to sell the Chinese plastic one, or whether there's something cool to be done like converting it to a more tactical type stock, collapsible stock etc.

I did more or less the same thing as the link that chalk river posted to mine. I abuse it pretty well, and it hasn't let me down yet. I used a bracket made out of 1/8" steel with a nut welded to it that I dremeled grooves into the stock for it to slide down into and used a bunch of epoxy.

I don't have any value for the plastic stock, but my question is who sells a nice piece of wood furniture for the 305 so I can toss the plastic?

Boyds sells nice walnut ones, but you have to wait until they're on sale at less than $100, as Boyds won't ship orders to Canada valued higher.

Boyds Rifle Stocks.... google them. They know how to develop the M14 addiction into an uncontrollable situation. :D

Your stock metalwork will drop in with little to no fitting, depending on which high school shop class assembled your stock pieces. :)

Cheers and welcome to the addiction!

For Canada, its 500 bucks, as listed on their website. But I can't find M14 stocks on the website. Is there a different model that needs to be searched?
