What to do with reloads?

I have a bunch of .41 Colt reloads, both smokeless and black powder. I may be dumping all my reloading supplies for that caliber soon. I could just pull the bullets off the smokeless rounds and deprime the case but with the blackpowder rounds the powder compresses in the case to pretty much a solid block making the case unusable. I understand you can't sell reloads.
 
Either shoot them if they are safe to fire, or just pull the smokeless and sell the brass and turn the black powder in "as is" to the local Police for destruction if you don't want the brass.

Dont' know enough about black powder to know a good way to clean it out of shells.
 
Label them as to what they are and make the new owner of your gear aware that they should be dismantled etc when you give them away. No need to throw them away.
 
Doesn't your range have a dud bucket? Mine does, that's where I put all my crushed shoulder reloads. Not that I'm so terrible at reloading that i still crush my brass, well ok, sometimes I set the die down too much lol
 
I have 50 .223 rounds loaded to test, that I never got around to. They are just sitting here as I no longer have the gun.

Problem is people are hesitant to shoot my reloads, and it is expensive to ship ammo.

I am thinking they might just end up in the dud box, but who knows.
 
As for the range dud box, I think there is around 400 rounds in blackpowder.

Can you legally give away reloads?

I can use some brass. Don't mind if it has BP in the brass, either. Dies? Molds?

I can probably arrange a pickup in the Lower Mainland, with a little juggling of contact info. I have a brother out that way.
