What to do with this 16 inch ar barrel?

I recently just purchased an ar15 with a 16 inch target crowned barrel. What should I do it? Should I thread it and add either a muzzle break or flash hider? My main concern is I don't want to add length to the rifle and make it more front heavy. Suggestions?

A brake will add an inch and a half or so. Added weight will be negligible. If weight is an issue, turn down the barrel between the brake and the gas block. Could be done at the same time that the barrel is threaded for the brake.
