What to do with unknown powder?

Pour into anthills and light.

This may sound silly, but it is a fantastic way to eliminate ants in your lawn, etc.

I usually wait until a warm day when the ants have the burrows open.
Then I pour powder down there until no more will go in.

Then I light it up......Flames will blow out the entry holes, and if enough got deep down in, there will follow a substantial "wuff!!" as the powder down deep ignites.

This will kill all the subterranean ants, usually including the queen, eliminating the hill.

Regards, Dave.

I must try this.

My neighbours are gonna be pissed!

Lets talk about the ideal burn rate for ant hill armageddon.

Neat..lol

Black powder being an explosive and all, I'd very much like to know how you deduced such a tidbit

If the powder doesn`t ignite, it will also make excellent fertilizer and help green up the lawn. No not try the ant killer trick with black powder. Don`t ask how I know this.

if you get a small metal garbage can and drill big holes all the way around the bottom and pour the powder in and light it ... the access to unlimited air through the bottom as the powder burn's up creates one hell of a vortex intensifying the flame like you wouldn't imagine... almost like a jet engine , it all happens very quickly but is quite impressive

I have to admit the ant hill idea is quite comical
