Do I trade my full size norc m14 for a shorty or not? 500 rounds, no malfunctions, groups 2 inches at 100 yards, fit and finsh are really good, (2011 gun). But I love the balance of the shorty and think it would make a good deer gun. And I'm nervous of buying a gremlin. Can't justify having both rifles. Any one have any advice?

Can't justify HAVING two or KEEPING two? There is a big difference between the two. Get the shorty, field test them both side by side, then sell the one you like the least.

For the cost, unless storage is an issue get a shorty & keep both.

I got a fullsize to go with my carbine, it is easy to justify and fun!

LOL! ya dude what's with the two threads? You own two threads with the same topic so should be no big deal to own two Norc M14's. Seriously though for the price you can't beat the M14's keep the one you got and buy a shorty.

I had two threads because I am learning how to use my new blackberry and I didn't think that this one worked!lol! Now I've got a better handle on how to do this.
