What to feed the Anschutz

Targetshootingproducts has practice. It is a round nose like the eley target, but has the lighter lube like the higher end eps stuff. Peter will hook you up... $5.50 a box for bricks and $5 a box for cases... Of course, every gun is different. SK plus works well for me, but the higher speed (1070 fps) eley club works a bit better. Both work better than any domestic (CCI, winchester, Remington) ammo I have tried, and I normally will always try anything new I can find.
 
Hey, glad you are experimenting. I've tried a couple of boxes of different rws (a match, a target rifle and some other stuff) but it seems just not to be what my gun likes. It still was reasonable (averaged .4s at 50yrds outside), but other stuff works better for me. The Rws match i tried worked the best, but the target rifle was very close. I think rws and SK/lapua are all from the same factory in germany, but I could be misinformed. Your gun will tell you what it likes.
 
found a local supply of ammo. There are 3 brands that show promise and the sub sonic is looking great. Possibly shooting in the morning with calm conditions and will post pic's if I can make it happen. The walleye are running close to shore and I need a fix.
