I have an STI spartan and it's alot of gun for the price but my favorite is my Sig 1911 target. Fit, finish, function and accuracy top notch. Some may not like the external extractor look but it works...

Which one do you shoot most often?

Every kimber I shot seemed to be real nice. Everyone that I know that has one has said they are very good.

Colt and Dan Wesson make good production 1911s.

Les Baer strikes me as a good value for semi-custom pistols. I am expecting my Custom Carry to be complete next February, so I get to find out for myself then.

Are those Wilson emt mags good? I've heard some issues with them but they may have been 9mm mags.

i love my Kimber.
fit and finish is head and shoulders over everything else ive shot.
keep in mind ive never shot a Les or a Nighthawk.

that said i really like my Rugers for the price.
(both the full sized and the compact)

Honestly, since I got the Sig the spartan hasn't been shot. It comes with me to matches as a backup but thats about it.
