I'm not a fan of the Xbolt I will look into the sako and tikka I mean a 270 I'm thinking should be great for most game... BUT, I respect all of the advice given and know that a .280 would be even "greater! "

yeah, 3x9 with the 40 OL, I just forget what the burn job is if I would say 3x9x40 Might fine good use in the EE for cheaper, but if you can swing a new one, your only gonna cry the one time!

yes, the A-bolts are something to consider. I have a bunch and usually hunt with one of them.
