Hi y'all im a new member here and i need some advice. I just got my pal and i have a good chunk of change availible to buy some goodies. I was thinking about military looking rifles (always been a fan of American and Soviet rifles) and I would need some suggestion on what to buy and from where. A buddy of mine has had great trouble finding something that was actually availible. I am in Quebec city and unfortunately the shooting markets is well.... nonexistant, therefore a good source of ammo would be greatly appreciated

It is very much the french-canadian version of Gunnutz! For ammunition, try Latulipe... They have a good choice! They also had a rack of SKS as well as used guns the last time I was there (a long time ago!)

Also, you should go to the next gun expo in Quebec (ask on armeafeu.org for the date).

Another thing: do you want a restricted rifle or a non-restricted gun??

The VZ858's are a smoke'n deal if you can find one (P&D Ent. in Edmonton has a few left). Rifle, 4 mags etc. for $650. There are also some good deals on this forum for used AR's :D . Back to the 858, I love mine and they are suprisingly accurate. Was out on Sunday and actually hit the 600m steel IPSC target 2 out of 5 times! Had no trouble to about 400m. I still can't believe it... I mean it is made from recycled tractor parts. :D

I saw these on the Marstar page but unfortunately they seem to be out of them for a while. Any place have any left at a good price?
 
For some reason i can't access the for sale section of the forum. I have never found the SKS to be desireable for some reason. But, having said that who could pass on a good deal....?

Anyways i finally got a VZ 858 and a 10/22.... im pretty happy bout that... whats the best source for 7.62x39? closest to QC ? i know i'll need ALOT though thats for sure
