what to load in my 45-70 1886 short rifle

just aquired a brand new win 1886 short rifle,im researching a good hunting load up to moose size. Im a B.A. but enjoy shooting.

Hornady book tells me 25000 cup can i go harder(pressure)

Buffalo bore factory load 45-70 mag said the1886 can handle it 500g @1625 fps. Will this work in 45-70 gov winchester 1886.

I like 17 grain's of Trail Boss under a cast 330gr HP that's paper patched.
Easily shoot's thru a 20 inch poplar
