What to look for in a used scope

It should still be covered under Bushnell warranty.
Take the serial number and call it in.
Hang it on a mount, bore sight it and see if the scope x-hairs move.
I have read that putting the objective lense up against a mirror and
turning the turrets should give you the same results.
Haven't tried this experiment yet.
